Terms of Service
Published October 25, 2026 · Effective October 25, 2026
Who we are
Flaghand is made by Trellisbyte LLC, a California limited liability company ("Trellisbyte", "we", "us"). These Terms are an agreement between you and Trellisbyte for flaghand.com, the Flaghand app, and Flaghand's API, CLI and MCP server (together, "Flaghand"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Who can use Flaghand
You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract. If you use Flaghand for an organization, you confirm you can accept these Terms for it. You can't use Flaghand where sanctions or export laws prohibit it.
Flaghand is in early access, so features will change.
Your account, passkey and agents
- You sign in with a passkey. Keep the devices that hold it secure.
- Approving is your act. When you approve with your passkey, you're telling us to publish that exact post, to that account, at that time, just as if you pressed Post yourself. You're responsible for what you approve.
- Your agents act under your account. What's done with an API token you created, including one an app got when you connected it, counts as done by you. Tokens can draft, upload, check and ask for approval; they can't approve, schedule or post. Keep tokens secret, and revoke any you no longer trust.
- Members you invite can see and work in the workspace. Owners can approve.
Connected accounts
- Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
- When you connect an X, LinkedIn, TikTok or Bluesky account, you authorize us to use its login to publish what you approve, read back what we published, and show which account each post goes to. You can disconnect at any time.
- Each platform's own terms and rules apply to what you post through it, including X's Rules and automation rules, LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies, and TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation and Branded Content Policy, and Bluesky's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (or those of the server that hosts your Bluesky account).
- The platforms decide what they accept and show. They can change their APIs, limit posting or suspend accounts. Flaghand isn't affiliated with or endorsed by X, LinkedIn, TikTok or Bluesky.
Your content
You keep your rights in what you put into Flaghand. You let us store, copy, process, preview and send it to the platforms you choose, only to run Flaghand for you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you post, including text, images, video and music, and that you disclose paid promotions where the law or a platform requires it. We don't claim ownership of your content or use it for advertising or AI training.
Acceptable use
You're responsible for what your agents draft and what you approve. Don't use Flaghand to:
- post spam, or the same or nearly the same content across several accounts;
- send bulk, aggressive or unwanted automated replies, mentions or messages;
- manipulate a platform with fake engagement, fake accounts or coordinated inauthentic activity, or get around a platform's limits or bans;
- impersonate anyone, or mislead people about who you are or who paid for a post;
- post anything illegal, infringing, harassing or hateful, any content that sexualizes minors, malware or scams;
- break a platform's terms or rules;
- probe or break our security, reach other workspaces, or overload Flaghand;
- resell Flaghand or share access outside your workspace.
We may remove content, pause posting or suspend an account that breaks these rules. We'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Plans, trial and renewal
- Price. $19 a month or $190 a year, in US dollars, plus any tax the law requires. The price is shown before you pay.
- Founding offer. While Flaghand is in early access, the yearly plan may be offered at $149 for the first year. After that year it renews at $190 a year until you cancel.
- Free trial. Your first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, and you enter a card to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and we charge your card that day.
- Automatic renewal. Your plan renews at the end of each month or year, and we charge the plan price for the next period, until you cancel. An introductory price lasts only for the period shown; renewals after it are at the regular price.
- Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement as FLAGHAND.
- Price changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your renewal. You can cancel before it does.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, posting pauses while it's retried. If it still fails, your plan ends.
- When your plan isn't active (a payment failed, or the plan was cancelled or ended), Flaghand posts nothing, including scheduled posts. Your drafts stay readable and exportable, and you can restart at any time. A post whose time passed while your plan wasn't active doesn't go out later by itself; approve it again.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time in Billing in the app, through the API, or by emailing support@flaghand.com. If you cancel during the trial, you aren't charged. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan works until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account cancels your plan at once.
Refunds
- Payments are generally final, including for partly used periods, except as described here or where the law requires otherwise. The free trial is there so you can try Flaghand before you pay.
- Billing mistakes. If we charged you twice, after your cancellation took effect, or the wrong amount, we refund the mistaken charge. Email support@flaghand.com with the details.
- No access. If you paid and can't use Flaghand because of a problem on our side, tell us. We'll fix it, or refund the affected time if we can't.
- EU and UK consumers can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of signing up, and we'll refund everything paid under it. Tell us at support@flaghand.com, for example: "I withdraw from my Flaghand contract. Account email: … Signed up on: … Name: … Date: …".
- If a payment is refunded or reversed, the period it paid for ends.
- Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes to Flaghand
We may add, change or remove features and supported platforms. If we stop offering Flaghand altogether, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before, and refund the unused part of any yearly plan.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Flaghand and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or a platform's rules, puts others at risk, or isn't paid for, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Disclaimers
As far as the law allows, Flaghand is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to publish exactly what you approved, when you approved it, but we don't promise that Flaghand will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a platform will accept or show a post, or that a post will reach anyone. Checks and previews help catch problems; they aren't a guarantee.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, Trellisbyte isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about Flaghand is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Flaghand in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Law and disputes
If you have a problem, write to us first, and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by California law.
- Courts. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California, though either of us may use small-claims court.
- EEA and UK consumers can also bring claims in their own country's courts and keep the mandatory protections of its law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, and we'll post each new version with its dates. For changes that materially affect paid plans, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before they apply, and give any longer notice the law requires. If you don't accept a change, you can cancel before it applies. Where the law requires your consent, we'll ask for it rather than treat silence as a yes.
General
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Flaghand.
- If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it.
- We may transfer these Terms to whoever takes over Flaghand.
- We send notices to the email address on your account.
