How do I make a meme?

Is my photo uploaded?
No. The meme is drawn in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere or stored, and the page sets no cookies.
Does it add a watermark?

What font is the classic meme text?
Classic memes use Impact. This page uses Anton, a free typeface drawn in the same style, in white capitals with a black edge, so it looks the same on every device.
Are there meme templates?
No. Most well-known meme pictures belong to someone, so this page works only with your own photos and screenshots.
What size is the meme?
Your photo’s own shape, at least 800 pixels wide and at most 2048 on its longest side. To make it a 1080 × 1350 post or a 1080 × 1920 story, put the download through the image resizer.
