X MCP questions.

Is there an X (Twitter) MCP for Claude?

Yes. In Claude, open Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector, add https://app.flaghand.com/mcp and sign in with your passkey, Google or email. It works on Claude Free, Pro and Max (Free allows one custom connector), and in Claude Code, which can set it up for you.

Is there an official X MCP server?

Yes, for reading. X hosts one at api.x.com/mcp for searching and reading X, bookmarks and Articles; when we checked on October 25, 2026, it listed no tool that creates a post. Flaghand is for posting, with your approval.

How do I connect X to ChatGPT?

On ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu, on the web: Plugins › + › Add custom MCP server, enter https://app.flaghand.com/mcp, choose OAuth and sign in. On Pro, OpenAI’s help describes read access only, and it doesn’t offer custom servers on Plus.

Can Claude post tweets?

With Flaghand, once you approve. Claude drafts the post or thread, checks it and asks you. You approve the exact posts with your passkey, and Flaghand posts them, now or at their time, then checks the live post.

Is it safe for my X account?

Flaghand posts through X’s official API, and you connect with X’s own sign-in: no password, no cookies, and it never asks for DM access. Your agent can’t approve or post; only your passkey can. Disconnect it any time.

Can it read X, like posts or send DMs?

No. It posts for you and reads back only its own posts, to check them. No search, no likes or follows, no DMs. For reading X, X’s own MCP server is the tool.

What does it cost?

$19 a month or $190 a year, 1,500 credits a month included. Posting to X spends credits, and so does reading X for watching accounts and topics, replies, the posts you reply to, voice learning, media from your X posts, read-back, plug checks and best times. Posting to LinkedIn and TikTok costs nothing. 7 days free to draft. No card to start. Add one when you approve your first post, or by day 7 to keep drafting. Cancel anytime. Founding: $149 your first year, then $190 a year. Includes VAT/GST outside the US and Canada; US and Canadian tax is added at checkout where it applies.

Which apps work with it?

Any app that adds a remote MCP server and signs in: Claude, ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, VS Code and more. Agents can use Flaghand’s API or CLI too.
