# TikTok safe zone checker

https://flaghand.com/tiktok-safe-zone shows a 9:16 image, or any frame of a video, under TikTok's top bar, side buttons
and caption, with the safe zone marked: what TikTok's UI leaves clear. The zone is TikTok's own, from the safe zone files
on its In-Feed ads specifications page (https://ads.tiktok.com/help/article/tiktok-auction-in-feed-ads),
checked on November 2, 2026, scaled to 1080 × 1920:

- In-feed: 120 px in from the left and right, 240 from the top, 660 from the bottom, and 300 from the right edge below 840.
- Ad (with an anchor link): 252 from the top, 120 from the left and right, the right 240 below 360, and 812, 878, 946
or 1014 from the bottom for one to four lines of caption.

TikTok publishes these for ads; an ordinary post has the same top bar, buttons and caption. Free, no sign-up. It runs in
your browser: the image or video is never uploaded or stored. The overlay downloads as a 1080 × 1920 PNG.

## How to use it

1. Drop or choose a 9:16 image or a video; for a video, pick the frame.
2. Switch between In-feed and Ad (and the ad's caption lines). Keep words and faces inside the dashed line.

An agent can open it with the layout in the link's hash, which never reaches a server:
