OG image generator
Your link’s image, made for X and LinkedIn.
Free. No sign-up. Your images never leave your browser.
Your image
X
1200 × 630 PNG. Name it as og:image in your page’s head.
Post it with FlaghandQuestions.
What size should an OG image be?
1200 × 630 (1.91:1), under 5 MB. X’s large card shows it whole. LinkedIn’s thumbnail is 16:9, so it cuts 3% from each side. This maker keeps your words clear of both.
How do I add the image to my page?
Put the PNG on your site and name it in the page’s head: og:image for LinkedIn, Facebook and chat apps, and twitter:card summary_large_image for X’s large card. Then paste the link into the link preview checker.
What’s a Twitter card image?
The picture X shows for a link in a post: the page’s twitter:image, or its og:image. With twitter:card summary_large_image it fills X’s large card at 1.91:1.
Why does X put a label over my image?
X shows a link’s title in a small dark label over the bottom left of its large card, and no headline under it. The maker leaves that corner to the label, so it never covers your words.
Are my logo and photo uploaded?
No. The image is drawn and saved in your browser. What you type and add never leaves it.
Can my agent make one?
Yes. POST {"title": "Ship notes", "line": "October", "theme": "dark"} to /api/og-image on this site, with a logo or photo as a link or a data: URL. The answer is the same 1200 × 630 PNG.
