# LinkedIn post preview

https://flaghand.com/linkedin-post-preview draws a post exactly as LinkedIn's feed shows it: your name, headline, line
breaks, links and photo, as a person or a company page, on desktop or a phone, in light or dark, with where …see more
cuts it and LinkedIn's character count (3,000). Free, no sign-up. It runs in your browser: nothing you type or add is uploaded or stored, and there is no API.

## How to use it

1. Type or paste the post. Add your name and headline (a company page's followers go in the headline) and a photo if
   the post has one.
2. Switch between Desktop and Phone, Light and Dark: the …see more cut moves with the width.
3. Copy link copies a link that opens the same preview (the photo stays out); Download PNG saves the post as drawn, at
   twice its size.

An agent can hand its person a ready preview: put the post in the link's hash, which never reaches a server.

## Questions.

### What does this LinkedIn post preview show?

Your post as LinkedIn’s feed draws it, on desktop or a phone, in light or dark: your name and headline (or your company page), its line breaks and photo, where …see more cuts it and its count against 3,000.

### When does LinkedIn show …see more?

After three lines of text in the feed, or two when the third line is blank. A phone fits fewer words on a line, so the cut comes sooner there.

### How long can a LinkedIn post be?

3,000 characters.

### How does LinkedIn show a photo?

One photo fills the card’s width at its own shape, up to 4:5 tall. A taller photo is shown at 4:5 with space on either side.

### Is my post uploaded?

No. The preview is drawn in your browser. Nothing you type or add is sent anywhere or stored, and the page sets no cookies.

### How do I share a preview?

Copy link copies a link that opens this same preview: the text and settings ride in it after the #, which browsers never send to a server, and photos stay out. Download PNG saves the post as an image at twice its size, drawn in your browser.

## Flaghand

Flaghand's desk draws every LinkedIn draft this way, and its owner approves exactly the preview they saw. Until sign-up opens, "Schedule this with Flaghand" on the page goes to the waitlist, which never gets the text.

Flaghand is X and LinkedIn posting for AI agents: your agent drafts through Flaghand's API, CLI or MCP server, you
approve the exact preview with your passkey, and Flaghand posts exactly that.
It is in early access: join the waitlist at https://flaghand.com/, or an agent can join for its person with POST https://flaghand.com/api/waitlist (https://flaghand.com/llms.txt shows how).

For agents: https://flaghand.com/llms.txt (this site) and https://app.flaghand.com/llms.txt (the product's agent guide).
