# Grid maker

https://flaghand.com/grid-maker splits one photo into posts that line up as one picture on a three-column profile grid:
3:4 posts at 1080 × 1440, three across and one to eleven rows deep (nine by default). It is Flaghand's own slide
renderer, and each post is a whole-pixel window of the photo, so neighbouring posts meet with no pixel repeated or lost.
Free, no sign-up. It runs in your browser: your photo never leaves it, and there is no API on this page.

## How to use it

1. Add a photo.
2. Choose how many rows.
3. Download the posts, numbered in the order to post them, or on a phone save them to its photos with the share sheet.
Post the bottom right first: the newest post sits top left, so the top left goes last.

## Questions.

### What does this grid maker do?

It splits one photo into posts that line up as one picture on a three-column profile grid. Add a photo, choose how many rows, and download the posts numbered in the order to post them.

### What size is each post?

1080 × 1440 pixels, 3:4, the shape a profile grid shows each post at, so nothing is cut from a tile. Three across, one to eleven rows deep.

### Which one do I post first?

The bottom right. The newest post sits top left, so post right to left along the bottom row, then the row above, and the top left last. The files are numbered in that order.

### Is my photo uploaded?

No. The posts are drawn in your browser. Your photo isn’t sent anywhere or stored, and the page sets no cookies.

### Is a post here what Flaghand posts?

Pixel for pixel. This page draws with Flaghand’s own slide renderer, the one that draws a post before it’s approved and posted.

Pick sizes for everything else with the [social media image sizes guide](https://flaghand.com/docs/guides/social-media-image-sizes).

## Flaghand

A post here is pixel for pixel what Flaghand posts. For agents, Flaghand's free slide API makes the same posts: convertSlides with split { media_id, across: 3, down: 3, aspect: "3:4" } (https://app.flaghand.com/docs/free-slides.md).

Flaghand is X and LinkedIn posting for AI agents: your agent drafts through Flaghand's API, CLI or MCP server, you
approve the exact preview with your passkey, and Flaghand posts exactly that.
Sign up at https://app.flaghand.com/start. In a chat app, add the connector at https://app.flaghand.com/mcp: its sign-in page creates the account. An agent with a shell can start the sign-up for its person over HTTP (https://flaghand.com/llms.txt, Quickstart).

For agents: https://flaghand.com/llms.txt (this site) and https://app.flaghand.com/llms.txt (the product's agent guide).
