# How to schedule Pins on Pinterest

Yes, you can schedule Pins on Pinterest for free. On a **business account**, create the Pin, choose **Publish at a
later date** on the web (or **Schedule date** in the app), and pick a day and time. Pinterest holds a Pin **up to 30
days ahead**, and you can have **10 scheduled Pins** at once. You schedule one Pin at a time.

A personal account doesn't get the scheduler. A business account costs nothing, and you can switch in Pinterest's settings.

Checked on November 3, 2026, against Pinterest's [Schedule Pins help](https://help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/schedule-pins).

## Which route fits?

| Route | Cost | Fits | Limit to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pinterest's own scheduler | Free | A few Pins a week | 30 days ahead, 10 scheduled at once, standard Pins only |
| A Pinterest scheduler tool | Free tiers exist; most are paid | A longer queue, several boards, other networks | Check how many scheduled posts its plan holds |
| Flaghand | 7 days free to draft, then paid | An AI agent drafts Pins and you approve each one | Pins show only to you until Pinterest approves Flaghand's app |

## Schedule a Pin on the web

1. Sign in to your business account and select **Create**, then **Create Pin**.
2. Upload an image or a video. If you select several images, each one becomes its own Pin.
3. Add the title, description, link and board.
4. Select **Publish at a later date**, then pick the day and time.
5. Finish the Pin. It appears on your profile, above your published Pins, within a few minutes.

## Schedule a Pin in the app

1. Tap **+**, then **Pin**, and choose your photo or video.
2. Tap **Next**, edit if you want, then **Next** again.
3. Add the details, then tap the arrow beside **Schedule date**.
4. Pick a date and time, tap **Done**, then **Schedule**, and confirm.

In the app, several photos and videos picked together become **one video Pin**. On the web, each image is a separate Pin.

## Change or delete a scheduled Pin

Open your profile: scheduled Pins sit above your published ones. Open the Pin's **…** menu to edit or delete it. You can
change the publish date, title, board, description and link. **You can't swap the image or video**: delete the Pin and
make a new one instead.

## When the free scheduler isn't enough

The 10-Pin limit is the usual reason people look for a Pinterest scheduler. Ten Pins is under two weeks at one a day.
A tool helps when you want a month's queue, several Pins a day, or Pinterest beside other networks in one calendar.
Before you pick one, check three things:

- **How many scheduled posts its plan holds.** Free tiers often cap the queue. Buffer's Free plan, for example, holds
10 scheduled posts per channel across up to 3 channels ([pricing](https://buffer.com/pricing), checked November 3, 2026).
- **Whether it posts for you.** Some tools only send a reminder, and you publish by hand.
- **Which accounts it supports.** Some tools publish only to business accounts, as Pinterest's own scheduler does.

## Schedule Pins with Flaghand

Flaghand is for people who let an AI agent draft posts. The agent prepares the Pin. You approve the exact Pin, board
and time with a passkey, and Flaghand posts it then. These are the steps in Flaghand's desk today:

1. **Settings → Pinterest → Connect**, and sign in on Pinterest. It needs a business account.
2. **New post → Pinterest**, then choose a picture or video.
3. Pick the **Board** (and a section if you want). Flaghand lists your public boards; make a board on Pinterest first.
4. Choose **Image**, **Carousel** (2 to 5 images) or **Video**, then add a **Title** (100 characters), a
**Description** (800), a **Link** and **Alt text** (500).
5. Select **Post at next best time**, set **Post at** to your own time, or **Post now**. Then approve it with your passkey.

Pinterest has no publish time in its API, so Flaghand holds the Pin and sends it at the approved minute. You can cancel
or pause it until then.

**What it can't do yet.** Flaghand's Pinterest app is still in Pinterest's trial access. Until Pinterest approves it,
Pins Flaghand creates are **visible only to you**. Flaghand says so beside the connection in Settings. For
public Pins today, use Pinterest's own scheduler above.

[Start free](/schedule): 7 days to draft, no card to start. An agent can also draft Pins through the
[Pinterest API reference](https://app.flaghand.com/docs/pinterest).
